I have retina pigmentosa, a condition that causes sight loss. I have very limited peripheral vision and can see very little in low-light settings.
Most people have almost 180 degrees of peripheral vision whilst I have approximately 10 degrees of vision (an example can be seen in the image on the right).. This means I often miss social cues such as handshakes and waves. I am also less likely to spot trip hazards.
I am almost totally blind in low-light settings. I may need to use a cane to navigate in these environments.
